Bible Note: Dear Brother Doc, Thank you for the quote. When I read it, I was wondering or guessing Dr. D. A. Carson could have the same thought when he wrote his introduction for his book "Exegetical Fallacies" where he warns readers to pay utmost effort, care and diligence in studying the Word, but also encourages us to work hard for improvement instead of drawing back for the avoidance of making mistake. Ignorance though sometimes could be an excuse for people to content in their comfort zone, yet, it is never regarded as a virtue. Shalom Azure |
