AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ezekiel 10:9 ¶ Then I looked and behold, [there were] four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside one cherub and another wheel beside each other cherub; and the appearance of the wheels was like a sparkling Tarshish stone (beryl). |
Bible Question (short): What is the significance of the wheels? |
Question (full): In Ezekiel 10 an account is given of the wheels of the Cherubim. My question is, what do these represent what is the importance of the wheels in regard to the cherubim? In chapter 1 a similar account is given of these beings. I know some Bible scholars remark on the heads of the cherubim relating to the tribes of Israel as they were organized in camp and how they shall be organized in heaven under the banners of the Eagle, Lion, Bull and Man as seen in Revelation. I also have heard that those heads can also represent the aspects of the four gospels. But I am having a hard time linking these wheels to other parts of scripture or figuring out there importance. Anything would help. Your brother in christ, Echo |
