AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ezekiel 1:15 ¶ Now as I looked at the living beings, I saw one wheel on the ground beside the living beings, for each of the four of them. |
Bible Question: What the heck is up with the wheels? I cannot figure out why they're important? I do not understand even where to appraoch the following verses. |
Bible Answer: Hi, Tim H -- The wheels of Ezekiel 1:4-28 were symbolic of God's presence, but the precise meaning of this mysterious imagery remains essentially unknown. Conjectures have been offered but lack clear and convincing exegeses. Reading the lone verse, Ezekiel 1:15, makes no sense at all. Reading the whole passage, Ezekiel 1:4-28, augments understanding. Chapter 10 has more about wheels and may help. --Hank |
