Bible Question (short): What about the "millennial reign"?

Question (full): Jer. 4:23-29 - Can anyone explain this text to me? It looks like the wicked are destroyed by Jesus when He comes (verse 26) yet verse 27 states that this IS NOT the final destruction of the wicked because God does not make a "full end". Wouldn't a "full end" be the final death of the wicked? The "second" death of Rev. 20? What then is meant by this text in Jer. 4? Or Jer. 25:31-33 for that matter? What about Isa. chapter 24? Isn't verse 22 an indication that the wicked are resurrected again AFTER "many days"? If Jesus' second coming takes place at the beginning of the 1,000 years of Rev. 20 (when His people are resurrected), and I Thess. 4:16-18 not only mentions this resurrection but (as well as Matt. 24:31 and Mark 13:27) shows that God's people are taken off the earth at this time, who is left alive on the earth for the 1,000 years? Clearly the wicked are destroyed twice (the text here in Jer. 4 and that in Rev. 20). Where is the Biblical references that show the 1,000 year reign with Jesus takes place on the earth and not in heaven?
