Subject: A bit of racism; a lot of sarcasm. |
Bible Note: Dear Fred I believe the Bible has given an illustration here, it can name any race, black or white, a whiteman cannot change it's skin to black and so as a blackman like an Ethiopian to turn white. Thus is the same as a wicked man, who is in the habbit (accustomed, fond) of doing evil, how can he do good? How can he change his mind or thought pattern. If a leopard can not change his black spots, so are we, who is accustomed of doing evil cannot do good. We can only do good if we are in Christ. So Man alone, by himself can do nothing. Jesus says in John 15:4 "Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me" Is 35:8 "THE HOLYWAY" The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for the redeemed; the wayfaring men, yes, the simple ones and fools, shall not err in it and lose their way" The path of the redeemed (righteous) and the path of the wicked (evil dore) will never ever meet. These are two parallel lines. The wicked will not step on to the path of the redeemed unless if he is being redeemed or repent, abide to Christ, born again, receive Jesus Christ as the only Saviour, healer and restorer. May the sharing of His Word encourage you that your eyes will open and see what the bible meant when he brings an illustration of an Ethiopian and a leopard. God Bless Sosi. |
