Bible Question: How did God deal with Jeremiah's sence of inadequency? Jer1:1-10 |
Bible Answer: Hi Dolly, God put His words in Jeremiah's mouth, in effect making Jeremiah able to speak God's Word. Later, Jeremiah will say: Jer 20:9 But if I say, "I will not remember Him Or speak anymore in His name," Then in my heart it becomes like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; And I am weary of holding it in, And I cannot endure it." Jer 23:29 "Is not My word like fire?" declares the LORD, "and like a hammer which shatters a rock?" God's Word has power, and God put His powerful Word in Jeremiah. I hope this helps! Love in Christ, Mark |
