Subject: does eternal have a beginning? |
Bible Note: When we are born again, we at that time become partakers of eternal life. Yet to say this means that we have been eternal (in existence) *from eternity past* is stretching things a bit. That my name was written from before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb does not mean that I "existed" from before the foundation of the world. If one claims to be eternal, he needs to define what he means by "eternal." When one is born again, he becomes a NEW creation in Christ. NEW can hardly describe that which is and always has been eternally existent. |
