Bible Question: What is Jesus' "government"? |
Bible Answer: Hello stokeyhk We see in the OT that Messiah is also a king who will reign. When Jesus was on earth He proclaimed "the kingdom of heaven is at hand" (Matt 4:17). That kingdom was rejected and is being reserved for a future time when the Lord will reign as King of kings and Lord of lords (see Rev 19:16). Steve |
