Bible Note: The main difference between us and the Apostles in the first century was the baptismal measure of the Holy Spirit. Only the Apostles were able to perform miracles AND lay their hands on others, bestowing those same miraculous powers. So we're not able to perform miracles like those performed in the first century. This phase out of the miraculous age was predicted in 1 Cor 13. Apparently, God wanted us to come to Him more out of faith than belief in miracles manifested by men. Blessings to you. Country Girl |
