NASB | Isaiah 64:6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Isaiah 64:6 For we all have become like one who is [ceremonially] unclean [like a leper], And all our deeds of righteousness are like filthy rags; We all wither and decay like a leaf, And our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing], like the wind, takes us away [carrying us far from God's favor, toward destruction]. [Lev 13:45, 46] |
Subject: ISA 64:6 My idea of vile differsSTRONGLY |
Bible Note: Hi Starfire, Menstrual blood can be infected and infectious if the lady in question has an STD. As for being clean or unclean, I'll have to study it some more, but basically my understanding is that one who is unclean could contain germs and these laws were for the protection of the nation. God knew all about what causes sickness way before man discovered bacteria and viruses. Believe me, God has nothing against women. He loves us ladies! :-) If you want to discuss this topic further in a more private setting, feel free to contact me at kabuchitama@yahoo.com. Hope this helps, Bows44 |
