Bible Question:
Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I read this verse and cross-referenced to Eph 4:30 and 1 Thess 5:19. What exactly is grieving or quenching the Spirit of God? |
Bible Answer: Sometimes when we read a statement like that we look so hard for something deep we miss that the answer is right there. I take it to be referring to all the other things in ephesians 4:25-32. Not beggining to work out these changes in your life grieves God's Spirit which desires to see Christ fully formed in us (our thinking, our conduct, our relationships, etc.). In love, Beja |
