Subject: Please explain Isaiah 60 verse 1 |
Bible Note: First please forgive my ignorance of the word. But I was under the impression that chapter 60 verse 1 really stated with chapter 59 As for Me, this is My covenant or league with them, says the Lord: My Spirit, Who is upon you [and Who writes the law of God inwardly on the heart], and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouths of your [true, spiritual] children, or out of the mouths of your children's children, says the Lord, from henceforth and forever. [Jer. 31:33; Rom. 11:26, 27; Gal. 3:29; Heb. 12:22-24.] To me it's was like the Lord was re-emphazing his love, mercies, kindness and grace with his people and He was and still is proud of them being a choosen people and with that He was going to bring about great blessings upon his people. Therefore their old way of life meaning suffering and being impoverish those days are over. Because the Light has come and the glory of the Lord has has risen upon you. Meaning a new way of operating in the kingdom, nothind but riches and wealthy and happiness from here on out. |
