Bible Question (short): Questions on Isaiah 6:7 |
Question (full): Was Isaiah's sin removed from him permanently, or was this a type of "limited atonement?" Hebrews 11:1-2 states, "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it, men of old gained approval." Is this approval the same as imputed righteousness? Is this taking place in Isaiah 6:7? In the AMP, "your iniquity and guilt are taken away, and your sin is completely atoned for and forgiven." What is the difference between (and significance of) one's iniquity and guilt being taken away and one's sin being atoned for and forgiven? |
