Subject: Work of man |
Bible Note: Isaiah 55:11 (KJV) 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. On this forum of late there has been much chest beating over the Westminster confession. However the Westminster confession is a work invented and constructed by man. What most people don’t know is that it has been rewritten and revised many times by different denominations. Most will admit the original contained errors or doctrine and theology that needed to be corrected. It is not the inspired word of God and thus does not carry any of the promises of God. It must be taken at face value a work of man to satisfy the theology of men that would accept it. Nothing more or nothing less. |
