Bible Note: While God wants His children to prosper and drive nice cars and live in nice houses it's your attitude that really concerns me. Jesus said "I'm telling the solemn truth: Whenever you failed to do one of these things to someone who was being overlooked or ignored, that was me--you failed to do it to me." When ever we fail to provide for those in need - for those who are hungry, we fail to do for Him. The strongest believer lives not so much by apprehending Christ as by being apprehended of him (Phi 3:12),not so much by knowing God as by being known of him (Gal 4:9); and this the least child is capable of. If they cannot stretch out their hands to Christ, yet he can lay his hands on them, and so make them his own, and own them for his own. These starving childrenyou are saying that do not matter do belong to Him. Another thing - you do not know if they do know of Christ or not. There are still thousands of God's children in third world countries that are starving. One way God provides for them is by having those who are blessed such as you and me send finances for food. In your words it clearly relays that you are burying your head in the sand. Be sure of your actions because there will be many who will say "Master, we preached the Message, we bashed the demons, our God-sponsored projects had everyone talking." But Jesus will tell them, "I've never known you. Get away from me, you evil people." Mat 7:22-23. prayon |
