Bible Question:
Scripture ... Matt 27:39-49, Mark 15:29-32, Luke 23:35-37, John 19:24-27 ... Which men hid their faces, in light of the passages I cited? It seems many were communcating with Him. Searcher |
Bible Answer: Hi Searcher, Is 53:3 is not that they literally hid their eyes. The prophet here, using the first person, spoke for his unbelieving nation's aversion to a crucified Messiah and their lack of respect for the incarnate Son of God. They did not see the truth that was before them. prayon |
