Bible Question: Is Leviathan in Job 41 Refering to Satan? |
Bible Answer: In Isaiah 27:1 it says, "In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea."....I would say YES that when God spoke of the Leviathan he was not only referring to a real creature (to me, a dragon) but also referring to Satan...Satan is a fallen angel...God not only created him but uses him to test us...afterall, in Genesis Satan was a serpent so why not a Levithan as well! |
