Bible Question: where can i find information on the capitals, leaders, and accomplishments of the Akkadian civilization. |
Bible Answer: The Akkadian peoples were Semitic. They had some influence on the later Assyrians and Babylonians. (Sargon might well have been Akkadian, I am told.) Other than these facts, I do not believe that there is a great deal that this forum might give you on that ancient pagan culture. The fact that some of their writings seem to parallel a few narratives in Genesis probably says more about the corruption of the truth over time by the Sumerians than it does about the Hebrew version of these events. I suggest that you search the web. |
