Bible Question: WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT BEING PREJUDICE |
Bible Answer: Greetings Texasbelle, The bible says that prejudice is a sin. Webster's dictionary defines neighbor as: 1) A fellow being (Acts 7). 2) One of the human race; any one that needs our help, or to whom we have an opportunity of doing good. Here is a few verses that deal with your neighbor. Psa 101:5 I will destroy anyone who secretly slanders his neighbor. I will not tolerate anyone with a conceited look or arrogant heart. Pro 11:12 A person who despises a neighbor has no sense, but a person who has understanding keeps quiet. Mar 12:31 The second most important commandment is this: 'Love your neighbor as you love yourself.' No other commandment is greater than these." Hope this helps. prayon |
