AMPLIFIED 2015 | Exodus 33:11 And so the LORD used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend. When Moses returned to the camp, his attendant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, would not depart from the tent. |
Bible Question: In the Bible Moises mentioned that he was talking to God face to face, did he knew that he was only talking in an angel of God. Because in the new testament it was written that there is no (man) one saw God the Father except Jesus Christ. |
Bible Answer: John 6:46 46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. (KJV) Jesus said no man has seen the Father. He did not say that no man has seen God. Moses did speak to God face to face at the burning bush and elsewhere, but he had not seen the Father. He was not speaking to God the Father, but God the Son. In Exodus 3:14, he said "I AM THAT I AM". In John 8:58, Jesus said "Before Abraham was, I am". In the next verse, they attempted to stone him........Why?..... John 10:32-33 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. (KJV) Adam did not see the Father in the Garden of Eden (Gen. 3:8). Abraham did not see the Father (Gen. 18). Moses did not see the Father (Exo. 33:11). The elders did not see the Father (Exo. 24:9-11). They saw Jesus....God in the flesh....... John 12:45 45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. (KJV) John 14:8-9 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? (KJV) |
