Bible Note: Hi meusing thx for reply-I don't see any reason for the haida to celebrate jewish holidays anymore than christians do. You are certainly correct that the first covenent was with the jews but they were established to show Gods' relationship to mankind also correct that the new covenent is for all-although some say only the elect. "His Terms" throughout scripture are that we obey His laws-which we cannot do--So now we see our need for a savior. The repeating message to us in both testaments is "I Am have faith in Me"In Genesis he created man-gave them one law-man failed. Then He set apart the Jews-gave them the law--man failed. then Jesus came and this man did not fail. in john jesus identifies Himself as the "I Am."once again-we are told have faith in me. In reading scripture from Gen. -Rev. one can see these threads repeating.-in Him-angel-1 |
