Bible Question (short): Ex 30:23 kaneh bosm is cannabis? |
Question (full): Ex 30:23 Moses is instructed to make a holy ointment. One of the ingredients is sweet calamus or in hebrew kaneh bosm, which means fragrant reed or hemp. Some use this verse to justify cannabis use. I do not. What is the meaning of kaneh bosm? Is it cannabis? Is it just the flower that was used to make an aromatic ointment? Thanks, Joe |
