Question (full): I am in a Bible study group and we are studying the life of Christ. This is not a question asked in the study group but one I need to know . I am not new to the Bible stories but I cant recall why in the Old Testament when they pray in the temple do they burn incense? I know it is mentioned over a hundred times, about burning incense while praying. I also know that this is an aroma pleasing to God and I believe he has even given to some the ingredients for incense. I just cant find out why this is accepted thing to do...I would appreciate any help on this. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide...cloud9799 |
