Bible Question (short): Why is the ground declared holy? |
Question (full): Why is the ground holy? The land was cursed at the fall of man and everything else that has been touched by the course must be sanctified. Is it possible that this land was sanctified? If so, by what? Is it possible that it's connected to the name of the mountain as being "the mountain of God"? I, personally, don't believe that the presence of God is a valid answer because the temple had to be sanctified for God's presence to dwell there (Day of Atonement), so what makes this different? Is it? Questions...questions...questions...any answers? |
