AMPLIFIED 2015 | Exodus 3:1 Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro (Reuel) his father-in-law, the priest of Midian; and he led his flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb (Sinai), the mountain of God. |
Subject: What does 'Mountain of God' mean? |
Bible Note: Thank you for your time. I don't, however, agree with that idea. I'm sorry...first of all, Mt. Sinai (as we have named it or recognize it as it was named by Constantine) is in Egypt and was then. If God led Israel "out of Egypt" that presents problems. I believe that you can follow the text to find Horeb/Mt. Sinai in Arabia as Paul referenced. (You can see more on this argument at www.baseinstitute.org) But...I think that there may be more to it. I'm just trying to figure it out. THANK YOU! |
