AMPLIFIED 2015 | Exodus 27:21 "In the Tent of Meeting [of God with His people], outside the veil which is in front of the [ark of the] Testimony [and sets it apart], Aaron [the high priest] and his sons shall keep the lamp burning from evening to morning before the LORD. It shall be a perpetual statute [to be observed] throughout their generations on behalf of the Israelites. |
Bible Question: what is the meaning of the lamps my be kept burning continually in Exodus 27:19-21 and Leviticus 24:2and does these scriptures have anything to do with Matthew 25:1-13 |
Bible Answer: Sojoro, It could be. -Exodus 27:21 says it was to burn at night and a perpetual statute. Maybe the five forgot the statute, as many in Israel did. They were lit to see at night. Steve |
