Bible Question: is there any significance, in 2kings chapter 6, or 7, i cant remeber exactly but where it says that the 2 women were going to boil their children and they boiled the 1st one but the second woman hid her baby

Bible Answer: Leviticus 26:27-29
(27) If you will not listen to Me for this, and shall walk contrary to Me,
(28) then I also will walk contrary to you in fury. I also will chastise you, I also, seven times for your sins.
(29) And you shall eat of the flesh of your sons, and you shall eat of the flesh of your daughters.

This was given as a result of Israel's disobedience, and so here in 2 Kings 6:29 "And we boiled my son and ate him, and I said to her on the next day, Give your son, that we may eat him. But she hid her son," we see the fulfillment of this.
