Subject: Is this a sin to do |
Bible Note: Sang The fact your friend asked the question to me says the Holy Spirit was dealing with them over it and they were seeking your approval to override with the Holy Spirit was revealing. I asked why you thought a person would get pierced or tattooed. While you claimed not to be able to answer the question you did. You basically listed all the reasons that people ignore when they do get pierced or tattooed. Therefore the cause is either ignorance on their part, hard to imagine when know the Holy Spirit is always at work in people. Your friend is a prime example of this. Or the cause is rebellion. "I don't care, I have a right" attitude that is definitely not Christian. What I'm saying is for a "Christian" to pierce oneself is to ignore all the good reasons you listed for not doing so. Therefore to me the only logical reason for doing it, is your ignorant of of those reasons you listed, which to me is impossible because of the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of a Christian, or because you are in rebellion to one or all of them.
