Subject: How do we lift up Christ for healing? |
Bible Note: John I reread the thread and I think I know what your asking. You asking since this says Jesus must be lifted up how do we lift up Jesus to secure a healing. John the lifted up here is talking about Jesus on the cross. Jesus completed the work of the cross we do not have to lift him up, it was completed. What we have to do is love and believe in Him. Accept Him by grace not by works of action. If your looking for a healing then go to James 5:14-15, there you will find a prescription of your healing. Remember Jesus said ask and you will receive. We must exercise our faith ask for a healing and then expect it. In James 1:6 tells us we must ask without doubting. Here are some Bible verses for you to mediate on. Matthew 21:22 "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." John 16:24 "Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full. James 4:3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. 1 John 3:22 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. Brother I pray this helps if not get back and we will discuss this more. Ed |
