Bible Question (short): Did God visit the Isrealites camp? |
Question (full): In Exodus 33:12-23 speaks about the promise of God's presence. Within these scriptures Moses ask to see God's glory. God tells Moses that he or no man cannot see his face and live. Then God passes before Moses, but protects him. My question: I thougth that the people ask to see God and that his trail past on the out skirts of the camp, but was so consuming that the people ask Moses to tell God that they want he to stop because they were afraid of being consumed. Is there such a scripture? Somehow I remember reading this somewhere, but now I'm unable to locate the scripture. |
