AMPLIFIED 2015 | Exodus 20:10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath [a day of rest dedicated] to the LORD your God; on that day you shall not do any work, you or your son, or your daughter, or your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock or the temporary resident (foreigner) who stays within your [city] gates. |
Bible Question: YOU SHALL KEEP THE SABBATH DAY HOLY, HOW CAN I KEEP THIS LAW AS A CHRISTIAN? |
Bible Answer: PRAISE GOD!!! You don't have to!!! If you are saved you have entered into Christ, and He is your Sabbath rest. Heb 4:9-10 says "So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His." And besides, unless you are from the lineage of Israel, you are not required to keep the Law. Read Hebrews. It shows the superiority of Christ over the Law. Luke |
