Luke, Lots of stuff here bro,We really try to make it hard for ouselves dont we. Could we be confusing confession and forgiveness ( 1John 1:9 )? How does repentance figure into this? Bible Answer: Hi Lionheart. Thank you for your kind words. Confession is only possible as a result of repentance, therefore there is no need for it to be refered to. Read about the 3 persons who were saved as recorded in Acts Ch 8 from v 26, to Ch 10 v 48, and count how many times the word "repent" or "repentance" is used, you might just be supprised.
