Bible Question: What is the application for Exodus 16:36 "Now an Omer is one tenth of an ephah."? |
Bible Answer: OK this is what I've learned so far...'Omer' it means a dry measure, the tenth of an ephah, equal to about 7 1/2 pints. Then I looked up 'Ephah' it means a dry measure of about one bushel capacity. It corresponds to the bath in liquid measure and was the standard for measuring grain and similar articles since it is classed with balances and weights in the injunctions regarding just dealing in trade. I don't understand what the application would be though. |
