Subject: WAS JESUS GOD ON EARTH TOO OR JUSTMAN |
Bible Note: Pop, I believe you will find that the reference to God's having rested in the wake of His six-day work of creation is better understood to mean merely a cessation of or freedom from activity or labor. To suggest that it means that He was tired or exhausted is not in harmony with the nature of God as Scripture reveals it to you and me. The Incarnate Christ, being fully God and fully human, became subject to physical needs such as sleep, hunger, and thirst; and He needed rest from fatigue occasioned by physical exertion. --Hank |
