Bible Question: I am seeking help of understanding, a dream that continues in my life somehow. I am engaged to this man, that was in the dream, that I dreamt November 18, 2009 - I even wrote the date in my Bible, although, I have even gone and meet with the pastor, where he attends, there was no explanation, just the look in his eyes, which was alarming to me. In the dream my finace' wss walking ahead of me, because he opened the door, and on the corner of my desk, my Bible was there, however, when he walked pass it, he turned and looked at me, and it was his eyes, and then my Bible began to glow, the scripture, was PSALM 52, and this morning it has come again. Please assist me with understanding, what PSALM 52 IS ABOUT. God Bless |
Bible Answer: cececapel, Welcome to the forum. Part of understanding Psalm 52 will be in understanding the context in which it was written. Psalm 52 gives an account of Davids flight from Saul. In the context of what is written here and how we should see it today we gotta understand that those that appose God and his people will always be trying to devise things to undermine those who want to walk with God. We see in Davids reply to all that was happening to him his trust was in God and his sovereignty. He had trust for God and his provision and stayed grateful inspite of what was happening to him. 2 Tim 3:12 is a good passage of scripture to keep in mind. When we take a stand on God's Word there will oft time be opposition. But as with David God has our back. In Him, lionheart |
