Bible Question:
Hey Guys, A while ago I was sitting in church and the guy was talking about David - it had something to do with how David had had so much from/with God, but he could have had so much more (this is in reference with him screwing up and going after another mans wife). Does anyone know where in the bible it talks about this? I cant find it. Thanks, Eliza. |
Bible Answer: Greetings Eliza, Perhaps you are looking for Psalm 51 where David appeals to the Lord after Nathan the prophet rebukes him. As for "having so much with God", David was the ruler of Israel for 40 years (1 Kings 2:11) and was in the Messianic line (Matthew 1:6, Luke 3:31). Blessings to you, Makarios |
