Subject: What is worship supposed to be like? |
Bible Note: God's day to you, keliy Did you know the word for worship in John 4 is proskuneo which means to kiss the hand to (towards) one, in token of reverence. It means we need to think of Him as the One who absolute control over us. While not Catholic, I picture kissing the Pope's ring. One doesn't sing, do service or anything else. It would be hard to do anything but worship, since it can detract. In the Hebrew it is shachah ... to bow down. Note 13 times in Revelation worship (proskuneo) of God appears ... yet to we pratice it today, or have our knees grown stiff. Searcher Searcher |
