Bible Question (short): May the Lord give...May the Lord bless |
Question (full): I am looking at Psalms 28:1, Psalms 28:9, Psalms 29:10, and Psalms 30:10. In these verses are words that can be interpretted as pronouns of Deity. They are "Rock, Shepherd, King, and Helper." l) Psalm 28:1, NASB, "To Thee, O Lord, I call; My rock, do not be deaf to me, Lest, if Thou be silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit." Psalm 28:1, NKJ, "To You I will cry, O Lord my Rock; Do not be silent to me,..." 2) Psalm 28:9, "Save Thy people, and bless Thine inheritance; Be their shepherd also, and carry them forever." Psalm 28:9, NKJ, "Save Your people, And bless Your inheritance; Shepherd them also, And bear them up forever." 3) Psalm 29:10, NASB, "The Lord sat [as King] at the flood; Yes, the Lord sits as King forever." Psalm 29:10, NKJ, "The Lord sat [enthroned] at the Flood, And the Lord sits as King forever." 4) Psalm 30:10, "Hear, O Lord, and be gracious to me; O Lord, be Thou my helper." Psalm 30:10, NKJ, "Hear, O Lord, and have mercy on me; Lord, be my helper." How important to you are these words/pronouns and their interpretations? From the heart, Ray |
