Bible Question:
We recently had a question come up in our weekly bible study and we are split50-50 on the answer and seek proof in the Bible. Can you lose your salvation? yes or no and where do we find the answer(s). Thank You. It would be helpful cause tonight is the study and we have been seeking divine intervention. |
Bible Answer: Well, your 50-50 split won't be solved here! That debate has proliferated on this forum as well. It really, in my opinion, comes down to this. Some say that those who seemed saved and now seem not saved never were saved, others say that they have lost their salvation. I believe that the new creation is created in righteousness and holiness, and never dies. Others disagree. You may want to search "OSAS", "Eternal Security", in our archives. Also, if you go to your favorite salvation verse, and click the little "N" next to it, it will show you all comments posted about that verse. Happy hunting! Love in Christ, Mark |
