Bible Question: I used to be able to ignore and/or tolerate foul language but suddenly I can't. It gives me a headache and makes me sick. I don't understand why this drastic change happened? |
Bible Answer: Hi, casamaia... Welcome to the forum! The more we come to know God, the more aware we become of His honor, worthiness, perfection, and purity. Furthermore, the more we become sensitive to sin. We all believe that treason is wrong. Nonetheless, we understand that the more righteous the ruler the more heinous is our treason. If we understand that about worldly nations, we can apply it to the heavenly kingdom. God is infinitely righteous and worth, therefore sin is infinitely heinous. The more we know Him through His Word, the more sensitive we become about things that demean His authority or steal from His glory. In Him, Doc |
