Bible Question: A few years ago, a pastor I was listening to said that the Bible states (in paraphrase) that God values His words more than He values His own name. What I know personally of God causes me to agree, but I would like to have scripture to back it up. I have been unable to find the scripture in the study tools I have available. Is anyone familiar with a passage(s) in the Bible that supports this? |
Bible Answer: THERE ARE MANY NAMES IN THE bIBLE THAT BELONG TO GOD. JEHOVAH NISSI,JEHOVA JIRAH,etc.. . These names are definitive,have different meanings,and if you never call him by any name other than God the father,there will be no condemnation.
