Bible Note: Chris, I appreciate very much the time and effort you shared me to have a better understanding regarding this matter, However, I must be honest to say and with no offense but your ideas doesn't come clear to me. The fact that if we are under the new covenant it would lead us to Love and obedience to what the Lord has commanded us( John 14:15). Even if we put it outside the Bible concept we're all law abiders in our respective societies, I haven't known any government that has no law to follow and of course disobedience to the law comes the punishment. The difference is in God's government all is ruled by LOVE and that by sending His Son, Jesus Christ we are free from the penalty of disobeying the Law. "God has given man a complete rule of life in His law. Obeyed, man shall live by it, through the merits of Christ. Transgressed, it has the power to condemn. The law sends men to Christ, and Christ points them back to the law."(signs of the times-sept. 4,1884) In regard to AF, we don't have any power to make judgement among others, I respect if you're not interested to it but for discouraging me to go in there am sorry but I find truth in it. The problem with us is that if it doesn't come up to what we believed we hold our hands off to it. Moreover, I pray that we continue to grow in God's grace and wisdom. Thank you and may the Lord bless you, too. |
