Subject: God facing sin (satan) |
Bible Note: Makarios May I jump in here, while I agree with most everything you said, I have a slight problem with, " Satan is the "accuser" (Rev. 12:1), and he is busy reminding God and Christians of their past sins.. However, Christians respond to these accusations emphatically by reminding Satan of his future (Matt. 25:41; Rev. 20:10)." Satan is the accuser and he does stand before God accusing us, but it is not us that answers him but rather Jesus our mediator! Jesus our High Priest stands at the right hand of God and make intercession for us. He is the one that responds to Satan's accusations. Praise God. While I know you know this Makarios, I brought it up not because of the incorrect teaching on spiritual warfare where we tell Satan. Jesus said it all and like you say Makarios we need to stand on Scripture knowing Satan is the defeated foe!!! Praise God! EdB |
