Bible Question: I was talking to a friend ragarding the origin of Ash Wednesday, and that I could find no biblical teaching instructing us to "receive ashes". I grew up Catholic, however have since been born-again. Does Jesus call us to receive the ashes, and if so, where in the Bible are we instructed? |
