Bible Question: My study Bible dates James writings between 45-50 AD and Romans between 56-58 AD. There is more evidence for Romans hat gives us good info to be "more" certain of its date - so anything on James? |
Bible Answer: Hi vguz... It's held by many scholars that the council held in Jerusalem in A.D. 48-49 dealt with some of the issues that James wrote about, so that's why it's believed that James was written in the mid forties, or he would have mentioned the council. John |
