Bible Question:
What New Testament precedence do we use for "Revival" in our churches today? |
Bible Answer: Parousia: (coming or presence)nice name! Romans 12:2 True "Revival" really is intended, in my opinion, for Christians. To call a set period of meetings intended for "renewal" or reviving the backsldden or carnal Christian is the true meaning of REVIVAL. I think what the churches are trying to do is inaccurate terminology. Perhaps "Operation Outreach" would be more accurate if the purpose is to reach out to the unsaved. That's how I read and understand my Bible. No better example is the Billy Graham Crusades. In fact and deed they are crusades. What do you think about my perception of revival? agape, justme |
