Bible Question: Who wrote the book of Acts? |
Bible Answer: Dear LBU According to the Ryrie Study Bible, Luke wrote Acts. C.C. Ryrie tells us,"That the author of Acts was a companion of Paul is clear from the passages in the book in which 'we' and 'us' are used (16:10-17;20:5-21:18;27:1-28:16). These sections themselves eliminate known companions of Paul other than Luke, and Col. 4:14 and Philemon 24 point affirmatively to Luke, who was a physician. With Karis, Tim |
