Bible Question: how can you begin to study where do you begin |
Bible Answer: I like to begin in the New Testament, usually John then each book after that. The New Testament is about the new covenant and the Old Testament is about the old covenant. You could study topically but I find that to be confusing after a while. The way I begin study is pray then start to read, if an idea strikes me profoundly I will spend more time on that particular passage. Please don't think the old testament is not important because it is, just not right now until you have read all of the new testament. There is so much meat for your soul to feed on. I have read the new testament a few times before I start the old testament. I hope this helps. A warrior for Christ, Jim |
