Subject: Jenhovah's withnesses church ? |
Bible Note: Greetings!! I have spent much time studying about the Witnesses, The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, and discussing scripture with the Witnesses. Their beliefs are so far out in left field that you can not find them by radar!! They do not believe in the Trinty. They acknowledge that Jesus is a god, not the God of the Bible, but a god. If Father God is a God, and Jesus is a god, then that leaves alot of room for polytheism. They give more credit to the adversary being a person then the Holy Spirit. Plus they're exceptionally good at twisting scripture. Unless you are a very mature Christian on a completly unshakable foundation, I'd personally suggest that you stay clear of them. If you'd like to discuss their beliefs and compare it to what scripture actually says, I'm willing. I still have all my notes and other information including the New Worlds Translation Bible-an example of how a bible should not be translated; Reasion from the Scriptures, and much more. However; if you're already engaged in study time with them, I strongly suggest that you go out and purchase two books. The First book should be a Parrallel Bible which includes the NASB; the NIV; the King James or the New King James. The Parrallel bible lined up with the New Worlds Translation will really aid you in seeing the difference in perspective between the truth and the joke. Secondly I suggest 'Reasoning from the Scriptures with the Jehovah Witnesses', it's by a guy name Ron Rhodes. You will be in my prayers The CurtMan |
