Subject: I need a reflection on Luke: 13-35 |
Bible Note: Before God came to us in the person of Jesus. God was busy taking care of wordly matters. He knew that Satan had many fans while he had but a few. He saw the suffering of his righteous people. He saw the descendant of Israel worshipping each other, and abandoning his cause. They were all worshipping the golden calf again, and forgetting his chosen people. His people were sheeps without a shepherd, and he came to be their shepherd even though he knew he would suffer as they did. He was a lamb going to the slaughter, but with a heavenly purpose. The purpose of salvation for all those worthy of it. In Luke you get a glimpse of how it all took place. He did not come into the world to give up his body. Though he foretold that the body of his son would never decay. He came into the world to establish a new contract with the christians. And made them shepherd of his people. And in doing this he forgave people that never knew him. And wanted to follow his ways. Just as Enosh did. |
